The National Institute of Teaching is a national, flagship teacher training provider that operates across England. We work from multiple Campuses nationally, and partner with a dedicated network of Associate Colleges to deliver our training. The Rainbow Teaching School Hub is located in the North West and is dedicated to the entire journey of a teacher, from Initial Teacher Training to Leadership and Headship/CEO training.

We nurture teaching talent through an ITE programme grounded in the most relevant and up-to-date evidence. Positioned at the forefront of educational research, we design our curriculum to reflect what truly makes an excellent teacher. Our dedicated Research team plays a key role in shaping a programme that is both purposefully integrated and research informed. From September 2025, we will award our own school-based PGCE, further strengthening our ability to support trainees. We understand what it takes to develop reflective, curious practitioners who embrace best practice—while also recognising the realities (and joy!) of a Friday afternoon in the classroom
